The TXM Manor Emergency Room is a $25 million physician-owned facility meant to address the healthcare gap in eastern Travis County, according to the city.

“The healthcare facility will provide emergency care, inpatient services and surgical capabilities to an area where emergency transports can take 25-45 minutes to reach an ER,” the city said.

"It's going to offer 24-7 no wait emergency care, six inpatient rooms so they don't have to travel outside of Manor if they need to stay at a hospital for a couple days," said Dr. Harbir Sing, Founder of TXM Micro-Hospital. "We'll have advanced imaging with CT scanners, X-ray, and operating rooms.”

The city of Manor doesn't have its own emergency room or hospital, but that's set to change soon.

In Travis County's Healthcare Desert, Manor Residents Lose Precious Minutes When Every Second Counts

MANOR, TX – June 26, 2025 – Every second matters during a heart attack, stroke or life-threatening injury, but Manor residents can lose as many as 45 precious minutes fighting Highway 290 traffic to reach emergency care. The groundbreaking of TXM Manor Emergency Room on June 26 is a hopeful sign that the area will soon get its first hospital facility to include emergency care, inpatient care and surgical capabilities—services that won't be available elsewhere in the community until it opens in July 2026.
